A Pair of Three was published in 2001 by Vagrius Publishing Company in Moscow, Russia. The book is written by Natalia Bestemyanova, Andrey Bukin and Igor Bobrin, the trio in the title.

Contrary to popular belief and tradition in their sport Natalia and Andrey have never been connected in any other way than by the sport they both love. Natalia is married to Igor Bobrin. This excellent alliance of “A Pair of Three” founded the world renowned ice theatre, Moscow Stars on Ice, aka Bobrin Ice Theatre and Bolshoi on Ice (Korea, France).

In the book the skaters recall their journey to the peaks of their sport, review figure skating scene in Russia and people whom they encountered and worked with during their careers.

In 2009 Astrel Publishing House reprinted the book, adding an entirely new part three. In it is the up-to-date account of new events in the lives of Natasha, Igor, Andrey and MSOI, their three seasons of Dancing on Ice, Russian Channel RTR TV show of extreme popularity.

It projects a glimpse into the future for the worldwide fans of Bobrin’s Ice Theatre.

Stories about the Ice Theatre are told by its founding father -- European Champion Igor Bobrin, his closest co-creators – five times European Champions, Olympic Gold Medalists, World Professional Champions, four times World Champions, five times European Champions -- Natalya Bestemyanova & Andrey Bukin; leading Ice Theatre actors and visiting soloists – Olympic Gold Medalists Artur Dmitriev, Oksana Kazakova, Alexei Urmanov; World Champion Maria Butyrskaya; USSR National Champion Elena Vasukova and the legendary figure skating coach Tamara Moskvina.

Olympic Gold Medalists in Ice Dance, Jayne Torvill & Christopher Dean recall the “Sarajevo 1984 Ice Battle: USSR vs. Great Britain”.
