The documentary film Ascension from Olympus unifies the past and present
of this unique, the one and only in the world, Ice Theatre, where actors act while figure skating.
The documentary is a story of a complex road of creation and establishment of the Theatre,
its founders and friends. It projects a glimpse into the future for the worldwide fans of Bobrin’s Ice Theatre.
Stories about the Ice Theatre are told by its founding father -- European Champion Igor Bobrin, his closest
co-creators – five times European Champions, Olympic Gold Medalists, World Professional Champions,
four times World Champions, five times European Champions -- Natalya Bestemyanova & Andrey Bukin;
leading Ice Theatre actors and visiting soloists – Olympic Gold Medalists Artur Dmitriev, Oksana Kazakova,
